Landscapes

I am considering putting up a section on my website for Landscapes as I have a huge amount to share from both in the UK and abroad.

Here is one for the moment. This is from the Roosevelt Island Aerial Tram in New York. Shot with a Fuji X100t. This has had a Tilt -Shift effect in the processing.

Tilt – Shift lenses are traditionally used for Architectural Photography. The lenses have two different types of movements: rotation of the lens plane relative to the image plane, called tilt, and movement of the lens parallel to the image plane, called shift.

So for Architectural Photography this can keep buildings straight rather than having converging verticals. But the effect can also be used creatively to make scenes look like tiny models.
